Niamhy Mac

Niamhy Mac (pronounced ‘Neevy’ Mac) is an 18 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, cello, bass guitar, keyboard) from the remote village of Applecross in the Highlands.

She combines influences of alternative rock, R&B and folk with her native Scottish traditional music. She attended the National Centre for Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton for two years where she first studied the cello. She is now studying on the Popular Music course at Edinburgh Napier, and has been regularly recording and producing original work.
